I have been using the services of Aura Maree Spa Salon for more than 6 years and not once have I ever had a problem, in fact the service I have have had from this salon has been impeckable. I have always been able to make a booking when it suits me and I have never had a sales pitch on products, in fact I think sometimes the girls could probably value add by pushing a little harder with products and services offered.Yes I am a male who has waxing, detox and massage, so I have tried different service with in the Salon and have been completely happy with every treatment.
Well I am still yet to have an appointment with Aura Maree but so far with just phone interraction I am less than impressed.
I have had a gift certificate for 4 months now that I have been trying to use and so far with trying to book an appointment I have had the following happen.
- Had different opening hours to what they are printed on their brochure, so I rocked up on a day that they were in fact closed.
- Have been told numerous times that they are completely booked up for weeks in advance - just simply told that, not even suggested a date that they are free.
- Finally booked an appointment only to be called today and told there will be no therapist in on the day I booked and can I reschedule.
Unbeleivable, I am almost at the point of throwing my gift certificate in the rubbish. I certainly hope that their service is well worth this ridiculous wait and running around!
Service was not worth the wait one bit and myself and my sister will not be returning here. There is only one person running this place on their own so my sister and I had to take it in turns to receive our treatments which meant we were stuck there for nearly 3 hours! The staff also would not shut up during my treatment and I found myself feeling not relaxed at all. Then to top it off they ended our sessions with a bunch of pushy sales pitches to get us to buy some of their skin care products!
I find this very hard too believe, as I have been using this service for a number of years and have never once had an issue
Poppy the purpose of this website is to give an honest reveiw on our own personal experiences and opinions with local businesses. Everyone's standards and tastes are different so what you might class as a positive experience simply may not have ticked all the boxes for me enough for me to come back.
There is no need for put downs, let's just stick to doing what we do best. Fantastic reveiws :)
