Our terra-cotta roof had a complete repair and replaced many tiles that had been repaired with handyman silicon in the past, unbeknown to us. Once your roof gets to about 12 years it may begin to show signs of deterioration, these can include moss, lichen, cracked and broken pointing and bedding, movement of tiles, cracked and chipped tiles, tiles becoming porous. Unless you are a roofing expert it can be hard to diagnose these problems.
Each roof is different in its requirements, the following is a guide as to the steps involved in a total roof restoration - Install Safety Rails - Replace damage and broken tiles - Re-bed capping tiles where necessary - Pressure Clean Roof - Apply Flexible pointing to all capping tiles - Apply Sealer Coat - Apply Colour Coats using Regent Paints.
Yes, Aus - Tech roofing can organise the replacement of your gutters. We have licenced plumbers who carry out all of our gutter and downpipe replacements.
We use an Australian paint company, Regent paints which are made here in Victoria.
