I have been promptly contacted by Aussie Seafood and assured of greater transparency regarding the weighing/pricing process. The fish is fresh and there's a great variety, so I'll continue to shop there. It should be easy to produce a docket stating what the fresh fish weighs.
Hi guys, Not happy! The seafood might be fresh, but there is no labels printed to say what the fish weigh that one buys, neither a detailled docket or bill! So you just have to trust the person who weighs the fish that she is charging you the correct amount!? I got a surprise at the till how expensive it was! Also, I came home with everything wrapped, but nothing written on it to say which one is the salmon, barra, etc. Disappointing!
Well sadly no matter how good the seafood is here I won't be coming back! I rang as I was stuck in traffic on the way to see if I could preorder and just run in right on 530 yes closing time. I was told no they don't do phone orders! Then I said I will just make it can I run in quickly? I was told they close at 530 on the dot if I wasn't there no I could not. I was nearly there so kept going arriving st 532pm. The sign said closed! I rang again the girl answered I said laughing I made it can I quickly run in and just get prawns. She flatly refused and said "if I let you do it I will have to let others too so no" I could not believe she was being serious!! But yep I had to drive away prawnless never to visit again! I'm sure they don't care but i find it sad that there is no more customer service or depth of building loyalty with customers in business anymore!
Valentine's day for lovers and home while watching Netfilx. The lady who served me was great. She was so helpful and we were able to put together all the necessary yummies so that I could make my own seafood platter at way less than we would have paid in a restaurant. Very happy.
Staff were very helpful making the customer aware of what was out the back as well as what was on show. Free samples of certain items to help with your choice. Helpful with ways to cook rather than the usual frying. Most items are well labelled. Everything is very fresh.
