Installation was fine but absolutely appalling service since. I sent in our electricity bill to receive the tariff rebate in February but still haven't received the rebate. The staff said that the delay is because they were shut down over Christmas - given that it is now June, this is completely inexcusable and if the company can't deal with the workload, they should have stopped accepting new customers until they can fulfill their contract with existing customers. I have been told that I will receive the rebate soon repeatedly, but still nothing. The accounts team are never available when I call and are late in returning my calls, if ever.
Had a 2kw solar system put in by Aussie Solar recently and was very impressed with their service. Very professional manner and even weeks after installing, never once hassled me for payment unlike other tradespeople. Also very efficient in giving the 40c rebate as their website promised - system is working well and we are currently in credit after the first bill and this is for a 6 bedroom house in the lead up to winter! No hesitation to recommend them to others.
Got a lkw power grid installed by this mob. took a while to get an installation date after initially paying over $9386. But when they did come they were very efficient and the unit works well on a sunny day. putting power back into the system. Should get one free day per sunny week. now await the govt. $8000 rebate(suppose to take 6 weeks)
wanted to add that after having the panels installed and looking forward to saving power our electricity supplier energy Australia here in Newcastle put on a smart meter which they apparently do to all new solar installations and now our power from 2pm to 8pm weekdays has gone from 12cents per klw to 30cents per klw so there may be no saving. They do however allow you to have off peak from 10pm to 7am on ALL the house appliances not just hot water. so if you run a pool or the like you may save, otherwise we still may be paying more. Disappointed. SYLV
Well been five years now and the Inverter broke already, had to get Aussie solar to come out. Well there after sales service is terrible. It took a month just to get them out and they didnt know what was wrong with it and replaced it. Park was bit over $1000 for a smaller new Inverter and get this $605 for labour. They were there 15 minutes
