Good place to go if you like queues. Like too many post offices it's understaffed by a few long suffering and overworked souls. Doesn't seem to have the full range of Post Shop stuff, and pretty busy at peak times. I'd recommend one of the suburban post offices if you can manage it.
There are some people in that post office that are really nice. However, I experienced a lot of disrespect when I went in and tried applying for a passport. My original passport had just expired a month earlier and I was due to travel overseas within six weeks. I brought in all the necessary documents plus extra things such as bills and proof of address. The lady behind the counter treated me like trash. She made excuses about how my documents were not enough and not originals but they were. I had my documents certified by a Justice of the Peace. I followed the guidelines and added extra documents to make processing go smoothly. The worst was being made to feel small in front of lots of patrons. I think the Post Office needs to teach their employees some manners. I went to another post office and they said my application was perfect and processed it there and then.
