have tried 2 of the 3 aust. post branches in Mount Waverley for passport applications (Gilby Road and Hamilton Place). would not recommend Hamilton Place at all. staff are not at all sympathetic to the difficult nature of completing children's passports (photo requirements for babies/toddlers are nearly impossible). i understand branches get marks against their names if they send in applications that are refused, but it is not a need for the rude way you are spoken to and their disapproving tone/demeanor . i eventually asked them to send in my child's photos after several attempts to submit them and make a note that parent had sent in without aust post staff wishes and the application was processed in a week! the next time i tried the Gilby Road branch and a staff member was lovely, polite and even helped to take a photo of my infant (aust. post do not offer the service of childrens passport photos - they obviously know how impossible they are to do according ...read more
