What has happened to Oz Post? It used to be an example of excellent service - the mail was always delivered. Now it is an example of a monopoly private service that can do as it likes seemingly without penalty. Newtown PO is the worst example. Cards are thrown in letter box without attempt to deliver. Complaints go unheeded - in fact there is no phone number - only a private one. You have to wonder why. The management couldn't care less, says it has nothing to do with his shop, fobs you off to more time wasting frustration and hangs up. What about the aged, frail, sick, without transport, infirm? Only got 1/2 star because there was no choice for nil.
