Australia Post - Highton

Known for bullying and singling out staff members. One older lady in particular (who doesn't run the place) acts super friendly to customers but has bullied fellow staff (particularly younger females) in an authorative and belittling manner behind the scenes over the years. Be careful when considering application

I’ve been constantly disappointed with the sour attitudes of all staff at the Highton post office, every time I go in there I try to encourage them to have a nice smile and better attitude but they refuse. This business is letting the Highton precinct down.

Rudest older lady behind the counter. Was in there to buy a present for a kids party, some very nice books/toys. I was in there with my 2 yr old and whilst I was looking through some books, this awful woman yelled out to my little girl who was behaving beautifully to put down the stuffed toy she was holding. In a fluster my little one tried to put back on shelf and she then yelled that people buy these toys and look what she had done now, dropped it on the floor. I picked my 2 yr old up and gave her a hug and said to this woman 'you are pathetic'. My advise go to Highton South post office, lovely man there. I will be telling my experience to all mums I know local, she does not deserve the business.

Post Office has moved to the Arcade shopping strip in Highton, and changed their hours. Good range of baby giftware plus the usual postal stuff. Post Boxes are serviced promptly and parking is available within short walking distance.
