Disgraceful service! As a local I have been a customer for the past 3 years. I have always frequented this post office with my pomeranian puppy (always in my arms). Our trips to the post office have always been part of our regular walks. As I entered the shop today I was screamed at from behind the counter that dogs were not allowed in the premises. I was humiliated by the Australia Post employee and as a regular customer treated poorly. What happened to customer service, a sense of community spirit and empathy. This could have been handled so differently.
Disgraceful service and pathetic all round. Will not be returning and spending any money here in the future.
I took a taxi to AusPost Kensington to try to get there before 5pm to collect a package. I was running up to the front door and could see that one of the ladies had already locked the door, at about 4:58 or maybe 4:59pm. I was literally in front of the door by 5:01pm begging to just be allowed to collect a package, explaining that I'd taken a taxi to try to make it on time and nothing - I was ignored first by one older lady, who refused to look me in the eye and fled the main floor, then by a second lady who smiled and then left the main floor and finally by the last lady who ignored me for a full minute before angrily shooing me away.
