Worst adoption centre I have ever had the (dis)pleasure of dealing with! And I have adopted from RSPCA and other shelters, as well as having volunteered in shelters as well!

Keysborough Animal Shelter - worthy cause. Good because they seem to try really hard not to euthanase anything. For instance, RSPCA burwood only has about 5 rabbits for sale at any given time, and has to put down any additional rabbits they receive (this is not the RSPCAs fault - it is the fault of people who get little bunnies then later decide they can't keep them or don't want them anymore). The AAPS seems to just keep finding room for the bunnies, making it an excellent place to look for a pet rabbit. They also are quite diligent in screening potential new homes.



The downside to the AAPS is they don't seem to euthanase anything. This means that some of the dogs they rehome would not pass the temperament tests at the Lost Dogs Home, for instance. Also probably wouldn't use the discount vet clinic unless you really can't afford a private clinic. These are the reasons they lost a star.
