After working in public and private hospitals he established Australian Clinical Psychologists in 1997, providing effective and brief treatment using a blend of cognitive behavioural therapy and rational emotive therapy which allows underlying issues to be targeted quickly. By setting clear goals at the beginning of treatment, therapy is focused and has an end - typically 6-8 sessions are required. I was skeptical as are most people I think about therapy, especially as I knew friends who seemed to be seeing people for years with no obvious improvement. But this type of therapy really works, my life and outlook changed very quickly from being hopeless to very positive in a relatively short amount of time. It's a hard step to take but very worth while if you want your quality of life to change for the better.
