We decided to go for AEF, 5 months before we had to lay flooring to our new house. We got pretty good quote and signed the quote and also gave deposit. As per the quote the progressive payment of 10% needs to be made prior to deliver and rest after the installation. Before 6 weeks of laying the floor, they measured the house. Everything was good, till 1 week before we actually start flooring. At this stage they started troubling with the money, they asked us to pay full money before delivery. aef has a company practice for the supply and installation of timber floors along with a very strict payment schedule which it has always adhered to as do most companioes in retail flooring sales.
None of our sub-contractors would ever enter a home under construction withoiut the consent of the builder.
We also never pressure for money but stick to the payment plan set out in our standard customer agreements. From time to time some clients have trouble meeting this obligation especially when constructing new homes and we always try to do our best to accomodate however it needs to be a two way street.
