I have also had extremely bad service from these guys as well. When I sent my sons iPod to them they were very quick off the mark to request me to deposit the money into their bank account because their new payment system was not up and running 22/6/11. I did this straight away and they then returned an email saying it would be shipped back to me within 24 hours of receipt of money. After follow up emails and much checking of the postbox by my 11yo son who was devastated that he dropped it anyway but now thinks that they have lost it, it has still not been returned. The last email I received was on the 19/7/11 saying that they had to replace a circuit board and at no extra cost to myself. It had arrived in that morning and would be posted back that afternoon. I have since sent 6 emails including the last one today which states that I also would be referring this to the NSW Fair Trading. I've had a lousy experience with these guys. Be aware that you might not see your device or repair money again if the repair goes awry.
It has been almost three months since i sent an iPad to Australian MP3 repairs to have the broken glass repaired and I am short an iPad plus $250. At this point I don't expect to see either again. An update to my own review: The day after posting reviews on truelocal and google places (May 11, 2011) I received, for the first time ever, an unsolicited email from Australian MP3 Repairs apologizing for the lousy experience and assuring me they were sending me a new iPad. Three weeks later I called to check where things stood. I was again assured they were getting a replacement iPad. As of June 15, I've heard nothing more.
