It took me a couple of tries to get here, namely because the first time I went past it was closed, being a public holiday and all that. However, I can’t really say that this is one of those pubs that I am really all that attracted to, probably because it is just a little bit too fancy for my taste. Sure, they had some nice beers, and friendly staff, but a part of me did feel somewhat out of place. Sure, it isn’t the pub’s fault, but it still isn’t a place I would hurry back to any time soon.
Australian Youth Hotel might have a name that clearly does not do itself justice. Although it might look like what seems to be an old-school pub with old charm dcor, tucked within it is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food and five star service.

Always love eating at this quintessentially inner city pub in a dining room that seems to have been a stable. Have also experience the private "room" in the loft area above for a few work functions. Reliably good food, eclectic menu with something for everyone, casual vibe, worth a trip to the more plush upstairs bar that's lined with artworks referencing the building's history as a bordello.
Love introducing new people to this pub, as they are always really impressed with it. Food and service are outstanding, and it has a really laidback vibe. The crowd is equal parts artists, advertisers and footy players, showing that everyone really can find something to love about this place.
Fantastic little pub tucked away in Glebe. Great old school pub feel- badge draw and meat tray raffles, trivia night, staff that like to have a chat - plus excellent food (try the eye fillet). Not everyone knows about this place but only becasue the locals like to keep it that way.
