Auto Brake Service Ferntree Gully

Booked car in weeks out and took a day off as i’m a subbie for car to have machined rotors and pads.
Go to pick car up and they said no charge as they hadn’t done anything.

They drove it down the street and thought it didn’t need anything. My reply the rotors shake when they get hot like I described on the phone.

Re book it in they said, how about call me with number provided and ask a question.

Was a good business years ago, go elsewhere and save yourself potentially frustration and lost wages.

This used to be one of the best workshop in Ferntree Gully. It has recently changed hands and the customers service is shocking. The manager and crew are great, just avoid the new owner. you cant miss him.

I had a brand new clutch installed in my subaru, they had a very competitive price. Was happy with the service and the time it took to get the job done.
Later down the track i had clutch issues. They didn't hesitate with honouring the warranty. Would definitely recommend these guys!

Excellent guys down there!!!!! I am a mechanic by trade but off the tools for a day job. When I have brake jobs come into my garage as cashies, I use them to machine rotors and supply pads. Great price and very quick service.

As a female, I find the task of visiting a mechanic to service and repair my car extremely daunting. It's difficult to know if you're being given accurate information about any problems or pricing and finding someone who is friendly and willing to explain everything to you is near impossible. I have been taking my car to ABS in Ferntree Gully for the past couple of years now and I've found the staff there courteous and polite. They take the time to explain what they're doing and after collecting multiple quotes from other garages I've also found them to be extremely competitive on price. I now recommend them to my friends and quite frankly wouldn't take my car anywhere else.
