Went in for a camera battery, as I had left my spare one in Hobart. The only one they had was flat so they offered to charge mine overnight. $6 for a car battery, but they'd do it for less they said. Returned the next day and they tried to charge me $10 because I didn't want to buy the new one. Ended up paying $6.
Won't fall for these guys again...
I cant understand why this person has made this claim. We went over and above for this customer as we try to do for all our customers.
Having been in business for nearly thirty years we pride ourselves on providing a high level of products and services in a friendly & courteous manner and this review is very upsetting.
Hi savvvy86, I am very sorry you had a misunderstanding with a staff member as this is not the normal and I cant understand why. Just to clear up our policy for doing a battery refresh as we did for you it is $10 plus gst to refresh or free of charge if a replacement battery is required. It has never been $6 ? so am puzzled as to where that came about. Once again I apologise for any misunderstanding.
