I have had this whistling with my car for over a month..I left my car with them over night as it was late when I dropped it off..

Dave called me early to tell me what he believed was wrong from the description I gave him.. as my car didn’t do the whistle thing much for them..

I was initially going to just pick the car up as Dave said he would prefer if the car would do more whistling before they went and fixed it as what was needed to be replaced was rather expensive..but after I went and spoke with him I decided to go ahead anyhow as it could have been a safety issue..

I am happy to report.. so far so good..it’s not whistling..

I was enticed by the convenient location and loyalty discount a few years ago. They were thorough with the first few services and got progressively worse and more expensive.
The tipping point for me was after my last service as my car was in worse shape than before - it had difficulty igniting, constantly smelt of petrol and was leaking on to the ground whenever I tried to fill up. When I called Autotech back and even drove back to see them, they wouldn't make time to inspect the problem and instead told me to bear with it as it would go away in a matter of days.
I went to another mechanic for a second opinion and found that Autotech had not screwed one of the fuel pipes in tightly and fuel was spilling and slushing around the bottom of the car - dangerously close to the exhaust too!
So Autotech, you have lost a customer of many years with your recent negligence and dismissive customer service.

These guys are the best.
Quick and reliable service and you know you get what you asked for. Never a hassle and always a good job done.
