A great shop ruined! This used to be a jewel in the crown of the Northern beaches but since the new owners have taken control, the quality has dropped dramatically and the service ceased to exist. I've given them three goes in the past two months and will never patronise them again.
The last visit had me waiting almost 40 minutes for my order which was half cold and the rest burned. They only started cooking my order after I noticed three customers after me received their orders. Not even an apology. ....and they even tried to rob me of my change for a drink I purchased while I waited. The time before that they served me 2 clearly rotten potato scallops and hadn't changed the cooking oil for months. The time before that they cooked my order incorrectly and when I challenged them they just shrugged and said "oh well". I try to support my local shops but these people have no idea and have ruined something that used to receive rave review.
First visited 2 months ago which was (ok) not the best but edible. Except my drink I brought was months out of date.
Visited just recently and it was the worst food I have ever eaten in my life! Fish was rubbery. I ordered a small chips which were only half full?! and the chips looked like they were chopped up potatoes?? I also ordered Aioli to go with the "chips" which tasted like sour cream???
Never going back!!
