This is one of my "Top 5" favourite restaurants in the Blue Mountains! The Dining room boasts spectacular mountain views overlooking the Jamieson Valley. I always request a table near the huge picture window. To watch a sunset in Summer is just magic! I like the eclectic collection of furnishings and artwork that adorn the restaurant. My Royal Doulton plate didn't match my husband's dinner setting but this just adds to the ambience of the place. The service is good and always very friendly. We were served by a lady in a very cute, red apron and hairnet! Every Christmas, my Uncle gives me a gift voucher to go to the Avalon Restaurant. I look forward to receiving it and going to this great restaurant again very soon!
