As a rule I always try and support an independent business, like a grocer. However, after years of shopping at the Avocado Tree, which I accept is more expensive, I will never again. Management is not only dismissive, but not long ago I witnessed them being rude, in front of other shoppers. There are 2 ways to deal with people, and that was certainly not one of them.
