Awaba House Restaurant & Cafe

Was there Saturday for lunch. I had the trout salad which was delicious and my friend tried the duck with noodles, delicious. The only complaint I have is that they did not bring the coffee until we asked a second time, but the waiter had misunderstood. Would definately go back again.

I have recommended this place to so many people, even overseas visitors, however unfortunately this place has lost its way, what a pity, it was so good previously. Went for dinner last Friday night and the service was terrible, the meals were served without allowance to finish one serving before the other was presented and put on the table and the Themed Italian dishes were very ordinary, especially the Lamb Pasta dish, I think they forgot to put in the lamb. Place wasn't full at all but the management staff blamed a Chef for getting the sequencing of the meals wrong as they were so busy, and apologised for forgetting our wine order as they were so busy doing "Fine Dining " ????. We were so disappointed it spoiled our Wedding anniversary dinner. No longer Recommended.

We went there for breakfast and while the food was ok, the service was not. We had heard good things about this venue but a rude waiter will ensure we wont rush back

We had dirty cuttlery and glass ware on the table, the high chair was filthy, my food was tasteless, another at our table had raw chicken that had to be sent back, another ordered a medium to well done steak that came out oozing blood, more rare if anything and the service was average.

have been there quite a few times and the food is always above standard. service was great, menu selection was nice, service was great
