Neal is now working from his home in Stirling.
I could not recommend Him less. Use at your own peril.
Our car has been with him for over 7 months and he refuses to answer the phone or return calls. He has been asked to return the vehicle 6 weeks ago fixed or not, which he said he would do, but hasn't. We have no options than to pursue it through fair trading or perhaps court.. Cant give no stars, so minimum score left.
I have taken my car here for 4 years now and I absolutely love them. Neal closed his shop in Tuggeranong and now works from his garage in Stirling. I moved across town (watson) and am more than happy to drive across town to take it to them ( even when they were still in Tuggers). I've tried other mechanics when I moved to try and find someone closer- but no one compares. His price is considerably cheaper than others, and he does extra bits like changing my windscreen wiper blades, cleaning the inside windows etc- I have never experienced this elsewhere- He always goes the extra mile and I am always very happy with the work done.
Quoted me $800 to replace a component that didn't need replacing and completely missed the worn suspension bushes. When I asked about the bushes they told me that everything else was fine. I left my car with them all day, but I'm certain they didn't even inspect it.
I ended up taking the car to a different local mechanic who replaced the (correct) components for under $200.
Also they seemed more interested in flogging me some 'customer referral scheme' than fixing my damn car!!
My breaks needed to be replaced badly and one of my mates used these guys before and said they did a great job. I took my jeep into Axis Automotive Services and they got me in quickly, did great work, the breaks work and I got the jeep back in enough time to enjoy the weekend. Great Canberra mechanics and great service!
