It was my first time visiting B Revived in Brighton as I wanted somewhere local to treat myself to a mini pamper rather than doing my own shellac at home.
I booked a $40 manicure using OPI gel. After having to ask the therapist to view the color selection, which was limited, I was seated at a small table right beside the front door of the shop. After requesting a good tidy up of my cuticles, the therapist pushed them back & after using what seemed to have been blunt cuticle clippers, left them untrimmed & messy & continued on to then 'hide' them with polish. I had selected a dark blue & by the end of the 1st coat, I had polish stains all over my fingers/hands from the therapists rubber gloves that kept getting in the way. Fantastic! A really relaxing little beauty salon. The therapist used a combination of Dermalogica products on my skin and I could see the results straight away. A very enjoyable, relaxing pamper session - PURE BLISS! Products were recommended to me but I didn't feel pressured into making any purchase. I'll go back for sure!
B Revived in Brighton. Used scoopon but disappointed. After initial argument of trying to get a date and time which was already unpleasant, then found the venue to be chilly, noisy with washing machine going, toilet flushing etc. Massage was not smooth and flowing, hands were off body several times. No choice offered for hot stone massage or hands on massage. No privacy when turning over. Eyebrow tint faded on one eyebrow a day later. Everything over within 2 hours but was advised on phone would be approx. 3 hours of pampering..hmmm? Have definitely had better and less expensive, so no real deal here.
