had a great grazing platter that was yummy and sizeable $21- with felafels that were nice and mosit not dry like often are, hummus, s/d tomatoes, black olives, greens, fetta, flat breads and 2 lamb cutlets and sagnanaki cheese. great chai lattes- made with fresh leaves not powder. warm and cosy on a cold winters nights. old stone building. great food.

great curry of the day- thai chicken $21, delicous home made curry and yummy salt and pepper calamari salad $22- with avacado, c/tomatoes, greens - calamari fresh and moist, not at all chewy. both meals sizeable so great value! highly recommend

looks like babble has new owners again. food is still fantastic quality, but prices are more reasonable, meals sizeable. dined during evening of stonningtons winter glow festival during gertrude street light projection w/e and it was quiet at babble so got table easily. staff were super friendly and welcoming. they made a special hot choc for my kids out of goodness of own heart - instead of powdered cocoa they melted real chocolate and checked with my kids if they enjoyed it and the replied it was awesome! extensive menu with breaky/lunch/dinner menus- daytime food includes sandwiches, soups, salads, traditional cafe breaky fare, grazing platters, etc. night meals include prawn pasta, gnocchi, curry of day, lamb cutlets, grazing platters, salads. lots of blackboard chalk drawings of exotic animals adorn cafe now.

Great cafe serving delicious seafood and a great spot for breakfast or lunch. It was very busy and it was nice to sit outside in the fresh air enjoying our meal. Service was quite prompt and friendly considering how busy it was and the food was delicious! I will definitely be back! It's also close to parking and a good place for a bit of people watching.

I was here this morning to grab a quick bite to eat with a coffee. Its in a great location, a corner caf just opposite Coles huge parking lot. There were several cafes all in surrounding locations, however this one seems to pick up a quite the bulk of traffic. I picked up the Spartan Omelette which was an omelette with seasoned lean lamb mince, cottage cheese, onion, spinach and red peppers, served on toasted for $19, slightly on a premium end however it was nicely presented and very good. I also had a latte to wash all that down. The place was really busy, offering seating outside & inside the caf of course. A number of single seats along the bench window which is always nice. Highly recommended caf for a great bite to eat.
