Baby Bunting

I was in here today as needed to drop off an equipment purchase that wa failuring. The place was relatively quiet. I had called earlier and provided me details and advise on the load equipment that was to be available and have dealt direclty with the suppliers head office. I found it somewhat frustrating when I got there having to explain myself to several people about the background, when all of this was obtained on the phone earlier, and it was simply a quick drop off and pick up as all reference numbers were already recorded with the details required to process. In the end, they manage to get someone from the back who knew exactly what he was doing to organise the return of the equipment and loan out the temp.

Staff were helpful when I went in looking for a gift for my nephew's first child. They offered solid suggestions and I eventually settled with getting them a baby seat. To top it off, baby bunting here offers installations out front now and then so my nephew and his wife had it professionally installed too. Great service.

I was in here today to have a look at their child safety proofing. They stock a large variety of products for all forms of child safety, however the only brand that they seem to stock was dream baby. Price wise it was quite comparable to most other stores that Ive looked at, these products are not cheap, in fact anything labelled for baby/toddler just seems to have a high mark-up but at the end of the day you cant put a price on these essentials. Picked up a few for the fridge, drawls, cupboards and it was more than $40 for a few pieces of plastics. The staff here has always been friendly and approachable. Ive found the best days to take your time to look around is during the week rather than weekends as it gets quite busy and difficult to get a staff that isnt already with someone else helping them.

Cons

- relatively expensive overall

- not enough floor staff,

- long wait in ques to pay for goods, even if your in the front of the line. They seem to be distracted by other minor admin tasks or inconsiderate of your limited time."let the customer wait type attitude" (Occurred on multipe occasions not just once 5-10min waits when no one was in front of us, just stood there waiting for acknowledgment)

- plastic bags are poor quality ripped before exiting store.



Overall, go there and shop around but look at other stores before committing to the items.

A great baby store with a big range. This is a great store to try out prams as the floor space is quite large to have a proper drive around and they have most brands. I have only given three stars as a lot of the pricing is not competitive. It is worth a visit though.
