For $20 a men's haircut can be hit & miss - here it's more of the 'hit' than the 'miss' though a couple of things could change.
I love the fact that they're open til 6, meant I could drop in after work without any trouble. The $20 price tag is a plus too, especially as I have a pretty simple cut. The floor and surrounds are neat and clean and there were 4 hairdressers so there wasn't any wait. They take payment by cards which a lot of cheaper hairdressers in the city don't, so that's a plus too.
What I would have preferred is if the hairdresser had asked a bit more of what I wanted. I had hoped for my cut to be a bit longer on top and shorter on the sides and I described this in a couple of ways but he didn't seem to understand. I'm not fussy so when it was a number 2 all over (and he had made sure I meant #2, saying that was quite short!) it was ok but not quite what I wanted.
