Have gone to this store a few times since being pregnant and having my baby because i'm trying to support local WA business. I have found staff rude, unhelpful, snobby and condescending. The baby products are lovely but you can find it much cheaper online or at other stores. I definately do not recommend this store to anyone.
Overpriced and extremely rude. I have never experienced a saleperson talk down to my mother like that in my 35 years of life. She walked out almost in tears all over a $30 t shirt. Went with my mother to try to swap the size of the Christmas gift she bought for my daughter. Mum tried to explain to the "salesperson" that she had misplaced the receipt, but had her credit card statement and the item was in original condition with all tags and prices still on. The salesperson (I use this term loosely) said very rudely "no returns". She said that we could not prove that it had been bought in store or not on sale (which the credit card statement would prove) but they refused to even look. The manner in which they spoke to my mother who is very kind and was just excited to buy a present for her granddaughters first christmas was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This is my favourite baby shop. We are from the country and came here on the weekend and were very impressed. Both of my sisters who live in Perth also shop at Babyroad. We would happily recommend this shop for anyone looking for products for babies and even young kids.
