Back to Basics Tuition

When my daughter started to fight me when it came to doing maths homework, I realized it was because she was struggling to understand it. The maths homework became frustrating for both of us. We went to see Kate at back to basics for a free assessment. She spent around 45 mins with her and reviewed her findings with me immediately. Kate was fantastic and relayed an instant understanding of my daughters personality, strengths and weaknesses. We were advised on a course of action to which I immediately felt confident in starting. The action plan was 50 hrs in 2 x 1hr blocks a week. My daughter loves all the tutors and is progressing on track with the initial goal set at the assessment. We are 2/3 of the way through and have been able to adjust a couple of sessions to one on one sessions to cover problem areas more thoroughly.
