Bah-BQ is a newly opened Brazilian Styled grill, specializing in a variety of fire roasted meats, poultry, home-made sausages, seafood & marinated halloumi cheeses from a specially designed BBQ. Our churrasco items are spit roasted over natural coal and iron bark to create an intense aroma and heat.

Lowdown: We came to this place for one reason and one reason only… CHURRASCO! No menu required, just an ongoing bombardment of various spit roasted meats, which are prepared with "dry rub seasonings, fine herbs, brines, marinades and glazes”. This is the type of place you go to, where the meat is soo tender, so lovingly prepared, that no sauces or extras are required. I did enjoy my night here, but some things about the whole experience are worth noting, though this isn't really a criticism. It seems to me that you're pretty much told you have to have the churrasco, which is bits and pieces of meat brought out to you at intervals. It's heavy on the meat, low on vegetables, and there were not enough condiments for my group of five. Waiters are nice, but don't explain things very well. It's noisy so maybe don't take elderly friends or family on a Saturday night .

The Churrasco deal ($49 per person) consists of a variety of fire-roasted meat, condiments and 5 sides. The tasty sides are deserving of a mention. They include (1) black bean and streaky bacon stew, (2) fine herbed rice with toasted almonds, (3) rocket and parmesan salad, (4) creamy potato salad and (5) mixed fried polenta, cassava, cheese bread and spiced crumbed banana. Feel like eating some meat? This is the destination... It's pretty much an all you can eat BBQ feast. The service is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. For $49 you get beef flank, beef scotch fillet, beef rump, chilli beef rump, more flank, chicken wings, chicken thigh, lamb ribs, lamb fillet, chicken heart, prawn, grilled pineapple... And sides! Great venue, nice and clean, modern, warm lighting and large spacious table. We came with 8 people and had a nice big table, it was a great night! Try the Mexican beer- it is amazing, light, fresh and perfect with... Well... Meat...
