Hi there, my name is David Womersley, founder and owner of Balanced Lifestyle Solutions.
I am committed to providing skilled massage therapy to relieve muscular aches and pains and for general relaxation. Furthermore, as a university educated Exercise Scientist & Nutritionist, providing clients with individually designed exercise programs is my other passion. Here is a snap shot of my story.

Since I played my first game of cricket, I have had a passion for physical activity and healthy competition.
After being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease (gluten intolerance) in 2003, I decided to follow my passion and embark on a career in Exercise Science & Nutrition, studying a Bachelor Degree in Health Science (Ex Sci/Nut) at Deakin University, which I completed with distinction in 2008.
After my first year of university study I completed the Certificate IV in Fitness (Personal Training), in order to gain practical experience and began working as a mobile personal trainer whilst completing my degree.
During that same year, I was invited by founder and owner of Functional Sports Conditioning Brendan Henderson, to assist him in conducting professional fitness testing and to run conditioning programs for elite sporting camps and junior football clubs. In the summer of 2008/09, Functional Sports Conditioning designed and ran the conditioning program for the AFL TAC Cup, Sandringham Dragons Football Club, where I gained invaluable experience in exercise programming, movement analysis and injury rehabilitation.
In march of 2009, I began a Diploma of Remedial Massage to engage my passion for assisting people in managing painful conditions and treating musculoskeletal injury and dysfunction.
