Bali Stick Indonesian Restaurant

Very Poor Service. We booked a week in advance and when we arrived there the table was not reserved. We waited almost 15 minutes and then were placed at the end of a table that had been booked for 14 people. Towards the end of our meal when we were about to start dessert, we were asked to move seats!!! Whether there is 14 to a table booked or 2, a valued customer is a valued customer.

I recently visited for dinner on a Saturday night with a group of friends. We chose our meals off the menu and shared but there was the option of the all you can eat buffet. We were pretty happy with all our dishes and found it good value. The service wasn't great as we were forgotten about a few times. We thought they forgot to make our dessert as they took a while to come out and staff seemed to be packing up and getting ready for their staff dinner. I still wouldn't mind going back although I think I would try to book earlier than 7.30 to get better service later in the evening or try the buffet to save the wait time.

We made a private booking for a party and were very pleased. The food was plentiful and extremely tasty. Waiter service was discrete and efficient. We would certainly go there again !

The new management - who took over just one month ago - have transformed the place (and not just with a lick of paint!). The food we had tonight was plentiful, fresh and very tasty! The family that run the place are clearly out to serve good food in a friendly environment. Having been here once before, two years ago whilst on a holiday from the UK, I have to say I went again with some trepidation, as our first visit back then was sourly disappointing. I needn't have worried! Although the menu is quite small at the moment, there is still a lot of choice by comparison with other Indonesian restaurants in Kensington. I am sure it will grow as trade increases. Highly recommended if you're looking for GOOD, authentic Indonesian cuisine (which is surprisingly hard to find in Sydney!).
