talk about specialising. This place does one thing...burek - and they do it well. My dad heard about this place on the grapevine & he lives in geelong, and even though he only visits this place when visiting me, this place is worthy of such a pilgramige. nice, tasty, not too salty, not too oily - you want good borek - you come here!
An interesting addition to the multi cultural eateries of Preston. Balkin Burek has only three choices, Meat Burek, Spinach and cheese burek or cheese burek. All three are home made and delicious. The pastry is flaky and not too oily with just the right amount of filling. Not somewhere you could go everyday as the choices are very limited but definitely worth a try. The shop is spotless and tables are provided for eating in or take away is also available.
