Ballantyne Plumbing Gas & Electrical

Absolutely appalling electrical service. The 'qualified' electrician did not even check the rating plate on the appliance I needed to have connected to the electrical circuit - he connecetd a 15amp plug to a 6kW heating unit. He left the job and didn't even check that the breaker had tripped.I was then charged for the 'qualified' electrician to returnt to instal the correct plug and dedicated circuit. Left tiles off the roof directly above the meter box and when it rained, water poured through a light fitting into my bedroom. They did not provide an itemised bill and after repeated requests, I received one to fined that they had overcharged me over $500 for materials. And I am the one threatened with court action if I do not pay for incompetence and negligence!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

BEWARE!! STAY AWAY.

They charged ...by the hour, over $700 to find an electrical fault. My wife pointed out where problem was, yet kept looking everywhere else, and charged for all the time spent (wasted!)

Poor customer service, and unfair customer treatment. Will not use them ever again...

Very happy with the work done and the timeframe it was planned for. Appreciate the short notice changes and how you accommodated them, it made a huge difference when it came to staying on plan with the project. I am very happy to continue using Ballantynes for our electrical needs. When we need further work done I will be in touch. I recommend Ballantyne Plumbing. They recently did my sewer conversion, decommissioning our septics and connecting us up to the mains and they were very good and the best price quoted. Nice bunch of people who didn't try to rip us off like some companies do. Highly recommend.
