Ballarat Essential Dental

I feel that the staff are friendly and also reliable. The work they do is also good but their pricing is extremely expensive and almost twice as much as other dental practices. I was quoted for some work and when I recieved the bill afterwards it was almost double what I was quoted.

After having some difficult work completed at this dental practice, i felt the staff are accommodating, friendly and caring. I would not hesitate recommending this practice to all my friends.

This dentist practice is very unprofessional in my opinion. I had 4 appointments with them in all and the only reason I went back to them is because no other dentist would correct the mistakes they made for free. The dentist's always seem to be out the back in the tea room chatting, The receptionists are also rude.

I am fairly new to Ballarat and after searching online I found Essential Dental and decided to book an appointment. I had a problem with a false tooth that was glued into place that had become terribly loose and making it difficult to eat and needed to be taken out, and in its place eventually wanted a permanent false tooth screwed into my jawline. After seeing the dentist, I found the dentist to be quite arrogant, and after pushing on my loose false tooth for all of 30 seconds advised me to go home and wait for it to fall out and then come back. That visit cost me $150 out of pocket, I have top cover health insurance, and never in the whole time I have had my top cover health insurance, nearly 20 years, have I ever had out of pocket expenses with dental, even a wisdom tooth being pulled out at a different dentist in Melbourne previously cost me nothing out of pocket.
