Ballarat Wildlife Park

Ballarat Wildlife Park is perfect for a day trip and the senery is beautiful driving towords Ballarat. The Wildlife Park has a lot to offer, the best part is animals roaming free and with a bag of food you can feed and pat kangaroos all the time. Kids have heaps of fun here, it is kept very neat and clean, cafe & restaurant has a lot to offer. Entry prices are bit high, so its a shame this Park is not included in Zoos Victoria trio.

We also like the crocodile & snake area, pretty impressive!

It doesn't matter if you're local or a tourist, the Ballarat Wildlife Park is a wonderful place to spend a day surrounded by local animals. It's a great place to take children and teach them about the different types of animals, and even let them pat several different species.

Ballarat Wildlife Park is a great place for tourists to visit, especially for interstate visitors. You can pet Australian animals, inlcuding kangaroos and a wombat. Would be a great place to visit if you are not from Australia or don't generally get to see Australian animals!
