I used them some years ago, they were keenly pushing Macquarie products. Up front very good, answered all my questions (and I had a lot as the products were quite complex), prompt in returning calls etc.
But, as soon as there were issues when the methodology of the Macquarie investment management was not as had been described by the Ballast adviser, my adviser suddenly became very difficult to contact.
I was dealing with the principal/owner and he became very evasive and was very curt when he was able to be contacted.
I would strongly suggest you do your own research before engaging with this business.
