Balmain Blu

Salad is bland and tasteless. Chicken burger very bad like rubber. You only get about 11 chips if you order size small. I won't go back due to bad customer service. I live up the road and spend about $60 a week here on fish and salmon. Tonight I was 60 cents short as I didn't bring my wallet with me so said i'd drop the 60 cents off the next day. The lady was so rude! she refused and looked me up and down. I was pretty shocked especially due to the fact I've been a regular customer for almost 1 year! OMG 60 cents! haha I won't be going back.

Fairly good takeaway and eat in if you want a quick sit down meal, the fish was quite fresh( it was a public holiday) and the salads were a bit on the bland side. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Loved the dory and the flathead. Calamari was sublime - soft not chewy or rubbery with a crispy batter. Potato cakes were like from my school days. Just need tabouli as the alternative salad and Bundaberg lemon, lime and bitters and I'm in heaven!

Unfortunately, Ive just had a bad experience at what use to be one of my go to, takeaways. I'm not sure if they are new owners, but I don't think they have a clue. Food was terrible. Old oil, overcooked and to top it off , instead of getting 12 calamari, I opened the box to find only four! When I called to complain, no one could speak English. I sincerely hope they get their act together but they have lost me.

Fresh fish and a wide variety on the menu. I have never had takeaway from here, as enjoy going on a warm evening and sitting outside. Great value - especially with the free byo!
