Balmain Jiu Jitsu founder Joel Costello set up his gym in the Balmain PCYC in July 2016. Joel took great pride in establishing his gym in a location that has long been a proud supporter of local youths, businesses and the community.

Balmain Jiu Jitsu is now home to a growing family of BJJ enthusiasts travelling from the inner West suburbs of Rozelle, Drummoyne, Annandale, Ultimo, Leichhardt, Gladesville and Glebe to meet and roll together each week.
