Balmoral Beach

In my opinion one of Sydney's best kept secrets. The water is calm and the beach is usually quite (unless it's a scorcher). The esplanade is peppered with cafes and fine dining so you've got plenty of great places to choose from. Top tip head for the far corners of the beach for the quietest spots. Enjoy.

Such a beautiful spot to sit and relax, or have a picnic across the bridge on the grassy plateau. There are lots of shady places to sit and the beach is a lot longer than initially meets the eye. Some nice cafes along the strip where you can grab some food or just bring your own. Lots of families and a nice friendly local crowd.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Sydney. Kid friendly and you can swim along the whole beach because there are no waves and no rips. A wonderful family atmosphere and you can people watch some of Sydney's celebrities here too.
