Bancrofts Dry Cleaning Co (Vic) Pty Ltd

I've been trusting my top end business shirts to Bancrofts for two years now, they are the best by far when it comes to quality (I've had a couple of shirts ruined at other places in Melbourne). They're not the cheapest I agree, but you pay for quality where you need it, your shirts will last longer, and they look better on. Well worth it in my book.

Do not get your dry cleaning done at Bancrofts in South Yarra. I am absolutely appalled by the horrendous service I experienced after so called 'specialists' destroyed my garment. After asking to be refunded a management staff had attitude and was extremely rude when they refused the refund. Mind you they charged me $65! They told me that they would not dry clean it if there is a chance it could be damaged and that there is 100% guarantee that the item would be safe. Never again will I get my dry cleaning done there! I do not know how they are still in business. I know I'm not the only one who has experienced issues with Bancrofts.

Please do not get your wedding gown dry cleaned here. I have been so very disappointed and let-down by Bancrofts Dry Cleaning and would like to warn anyone else thinking of taking their precious wedding gown there too.

Being an iron-phobic 20-something businessman living by himself a good dry-cleaner that doesnt break the budget is imperative. Bancrofts is the closest dry-cleaner to my apartment, however I had always walked on by due to the following observations:

* Unnecessary self-congratulatory trophies placed prominently in the windows (this is not a Nobel nominating industry)
