The ladies who work here are all very sweet and friendly, and I always enjoy the food. It's both perfectly located (extremely central and by a major bus stop) and badly located (often crowded, lots of smoking teenagers hanging around the front). Although the girls are nice I notice some spend a lot of time talking to each other when there's dirty dishes on the tables that should be cleared. This location could be improved with better staff training.
Had to wait 20 minutes for a simple chicken & cheese toastie AFTER every customer who came after me have gone on their way. The servers did not even once asked if I was alright & what I was waiting for, they just walked around avoiding eye contact. Worst service ever!
Perfectly located, clean and fresh looking if a little crowded, the bakery products at Banjo's are simply sensational. The pies are awesome - especially the curried chicken - and the sausage rolls (ok we are not talking gourmet food here) are the best I've had and many friends agree. This is not your standard bakery fare and you will not be dissapointed. Nice to sit and watch Geelong go by and the service is superfast and friendly.
