A cosy but roomy council library, located right in the heart of the main Panania local shopping area. The library is part of the wider Bankstown Council network of libraries. The library can get quite busy after school hours on school days. This library has over 20 study desks, a magazine reading area, 3 computers for Internet access, a children's reading and learning area, photocopying/printing facilities and free wi-fi. The staff members are very helpful and knowledgeable - make sure you line up at the barrier at the front counter or they won't know if you've been served or not.
great selection of books - fiction and non fiction - and I've been borrowing books from cognitive behavioural therapy to social networking for dummies, spiritual and philosophical tomes to classic novels. i think its a great library and you can borrow so many books and have them for such a long time. the economic downturn has forced me to cut down on purchasing my beloved books and Ive now been reminded of how wonderful libraries are.
