Bar Adyar cafe

The "little hole in the wall" along Kent Street, near Town Hall. The cafe has been in operation for a while (over 10 years), and recently changed hands. Happy to say, the food and beverages are all still great quality. The menu is almost all vegetarian, but don't let that put you off- they have a wonderful array of healthy salads, rolls, tortillas, etc. and a good breakfast menu. Try the "curried eggs on sourdough", one of my faves. Coffee is good (reasonable price), and the setting is good if you like unusual cave-type setups in the middle of the city. Can get a bit cool in winter with the draft, so make sure they turn the gas heaters on!
