Okay, while I've only been here a couple of times I have to say that this is one of the better bars in Sydney. Sure, it is a bit of a dive (though I am probably understating the reality somewhat) but it is one of those unpretentious bars where everybody is welcome and can feel comfortable. It is one of the very few places that I have encountered, especially in Sydney, where the door staff are quite friendly and welcoming. Too many places the bouncers seem to eye everybody off, treating all patrons with suspicion, but not this place. You get a polite hi, and a warm welcome. Oh, I should also mention that their drinks are cheap, and when I say cheap I mean super cheap. Mind you, they also use plastic glasses, which suggests that quite a lot of people take advantage of this as well. I almost forgot they also have live bands.
