Bar Coluzzi

Sometime in the late 1950's Lugi Coluzzi (an Italian boxer) came to Sydney to spread his love of good food and great coffee. A Darlinghurst landmark, 'Bar Coluzzi' (on Victoria St), is a popular local haunt that people of all ages and backgrounds flock to daily.

Good coffee, friendly staff and always stop by when in the area. Sometime it can be difficult to find a seat outside, but well worth investigating if in the district

I enjoyed a good sandwich from this cafe today. I ordered a turkey, cranberry and avocado on dark rye. It was nicely made with fresh ingredients and generous. There were a few things they offered, but didn't actually have though. The cafe itself is small, but there's lots or seating outside. Staff are lovely, very friendly and service is responsive. No wonder it's popular. Well done and thanks.

Decent coffee and service is usually quite friendly too. Much quieter than 22 grams and similar sorts of cafes along Avoca/the Spot area. Cheaper (slightly) too, but less of that 'hipster' vibe, which can be a good thing sometimes. Old school.
