Despite this place having been around for a while I have rarely found myself visiting it. Maybe it has a lot to do with me rarely visiting this end of town. Anyway, it has changed a but since I was last here around four years ago, namely because there is now a large outdoor area on the footpath that is surrounded by frosted glass. Mind you, it seems as if most of the people that visit this place end up in the outdoor area. There is a decent selection of beers, though the ones on tap tend to be the standard offerings, though there is a large beer menu above the bar (which list all of the bottled beers available). Everytime I've been here it has been quiet, so I guess this is a plus. An okay place for a couple of drinks, but not one of the best.
Good little place for a drink. Basically next door to Hogs Breath Cafe but only a short walk from other quality restaurants. A meal along Gouger street and then some after dinner drinks here makes a great night. Friendly staff and a friendly crowd, pool tables and big screen TVs. But for such a small pub the toilet is such a hike!
