Barbeques Galore

Funny enough we accidentially found ourselves at BBQ's Galore as we intended to buy a Weber. What a fantastic mistake, and how fortunate that 'Jack' a store manager, and great guy, assisted us. We bought a Ziegler & Brown Turbo Elite w/ side burner, not intending to get such a fantastic BBQ, but Jack sold us on its merits. We didn't buy on the day, and I appciate that he didn't use high pressure sales tactics. I priced checked and realised Jack gave us a fantastic deal. All the guys at BBQ's Galore Highpoint are friendly and helpful and serioulsy their prices can't be beat!

For some apparent reason Ive never been in one of these stores. I happen to accidently pop in while taking a stroll in the homemakers section while looking for furniture. Upon entrance they had these super-size beach umbrellas for $9.95, I couldnt believe it as I only recently purchase one at Bunnings for $50. The sign did say huge savings of $50. No questions about this, I had to pick up one, they had a variety of colors also available. Browsing around quickly, they had a number of great items for outdoor activities, home dcor, pretty much anything related to outdoor furnishing. The service was ok, no issue here the fellow even gave my little one a few balloons which was nice. I would like to return again with more time to have a better look around the store.

Very disappointed with Barbeque Galores customer service. We bought an outdoor setting on sale, at the time we were very pleased with the deal and were told the setting would be delivered in 10 days. However, 1 month later we still had not received the setting. We called to inquire to discover all settings had been sold and the only one left for us was the floor stock. There was no apology what so ever; we were simply told this was the way it was; their attitude was quite disappointing. After viewing the floor stock we found marks on the table top and on one of the chairs, we had to negotiate with them (repeatedly stating we had received a good deal) to only receive a $50 refund and free delivery. The outdoor setting was then delivered two weeks later than expected, with the table tied on the back of a ute with the wrong ties, nothing to protect the table such as a blanket, in an upright position (this weakens the table) .
