I had a haircut from Barbers At The Bay yesterday and it was excellent. Brian is a great man and runs a fantastic establishment. There was multiple small children impatiently waiting for haircuts but he did not let his standards drop and maintained an enthusiastic and cheerful demeanour. I am already looking forward to my next cut!
Brian seems to have most of the Eastern Suburbs as his customer base. That's because he's a real character, he's reasonably priced, and most importantly, he's really good at cutting hair. Brian could charge twenty times what he charges and I'd still go just for the crazy jokes and interesting people I meet. I grew up having my hair cut by Brian. I've lived in a different city for years and still come back for cuts. Don't bother listening to just_a_guy.
Barbers do not understand simple instructions, nor do they know how to cut hair without cutting skin. Sure the atmosphere is great, but unless you're getting a number 3 all over you're going to be disappointed.
