Barokee House Bed And Breakfast and Tea Rooms
Barokee House is a recently restored 1930s stone built home, tastefully renovated and furnished in a style to compliment the era. This beautiful home can be found in the small, friendly township of Warooka, the gateway to the bottom end. Warooka is ideally situated to give the visitor easy access to the fabulous coastline of lower York Peninsula, with its extensive water activities. Other attractions include Innes National Park with the native fauna and flora, famous shipwrecks creating interesting dive sites and the rapidly growing and popular coastal towns of Hardwicke Bay, Point Turton, Corny Point and Marion Bay close by. A warm welcome awaits you from your hosts Doris and Robert. Enjoy a country/coastal break in the luxurious surroundings of Barokee House and beyond.
We stayed at Barokee house for 3 nights over new years. We would highly recommend it. The house and tearooms are both beautiful. We particularly loved the range of tea cups. Breakfast each morning was fantastic with the option of a fully cooked breakfast or cereal and toast. The hospitality was exceptional. Doris and Robert are friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed talking to them both. The house is really well located close to Flaherty's beach which has white white sand stretching for kilometres and crystal clear green water. There's a great seafood restaurant nearby and a wellness centre just down the street where you can get a massage. Overall it was really just fabulous. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.
