A nice cozy place to dine in. It's a flexible type of dining from casual to fine dining cos they have different sections to dine in and has function rooms. A nice veranda to eat outside. Noise level is just fine. The food is really great tasting although it's not for sharing portions. They have different weekly specials to add variety. I personally liked their eggplant chips, it's simple but I really loved it even the kids who don't eat veggies liked it. The staff are prompt and attentive as well so they deserve 5* from me.
Great food.
The meals sizes aren't the best, but it does fill you up.
The service was great, and it's most definitely in my favourite's book.
On average the price ranges from $23 - $34 depending on what you order.
But all in all i had no problems with this place, and rate it five starts,
because everything was well done
This quaint little restaurant in the heart of Ivanhoe is definitely worth a visit. I dined here on a busy Saturday night with my family bookings are essential. The meals were served within 30 minutes of us being seated, which was pretty impressive considering how busy the place was. The food was cooked to perfection and the ingredients were fresh. The poll Hereford eye fillet was divine! Meal sizes were a little on the light side, however we left feeling satisfied. Main meals range from $24-$34. A kids menu is available. Barrio is listed in the Entertainment Book 2009/2010 (a complimentary main meal up to $35). Its not one of those restaurants where you cant hear the person opposite you, yet at the same time still has a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
